About

Laura Brundage serves as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Vocal Studies. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal performance and has since done further study through NYSTA, Northwestern University, and the CCM Institute at Shenandoah University. She is currently enrolled in the DME program at Liberty University. In addition to teaching, Brundage directs the BJU Lyric Choir. She is an active member of NATS and ACDA.

An active perfomer, concert repertoire includes Vivaldi's Gloria, Fauré's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Brahm's Requiem, Mozart's Requiem, as well as solo performances with university and community arts ensembles in South Carolina. She has performed the role of "Beth" in Little Women: The Broadway Musical, "Belle" in A Christmas Carol, and other smaller roles in local theatre productions.

Since 2019, Laura Brundage has served as Executive Director of the award-winning Rivertree Singers, a non-profit community choir that has been featured throughout the southeast including at The Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC and multiple ACDA Southern Division Conferences.

Brundage is also the Artistic Director of Greenville Youth Chorale, a premiere non-profit children's choir based in Greenville, SC that serves almost 100 singers each season.
