What type of high school did you graduate from?
Christian School

How have you grown over your years at BJU?
BJU was such a life-changing experience for me. God used my classes, my professors, my society, the chapels, and so much more to teach me about Himself. He changed me throughout my years using various circumstances. He used my professors to help as I searched for direction in my life. I’m so thankful that I chose to attend Bob Jones University.

What’s your favorite verse or Scripture passage?
Some of my favorite verses are Isaiah 26:3–4. It says that as we trust God and keep our lives focused on Him, He gives peace and stability. As we face challenging situations that seem to rock our world, He stays constant and in complete control. How reassuring is that?!

What was your favorite class in college? Why?
My favorite college class was probably Calculus 4. I know, I know, that sounds crazy, but I loved the challenge! It was hard, but it was so satisfying to come to the end of a problem and realize I understood it. And, my professor was amazing. He pushed me to be the best learner I could be.

What are your hobbies or interests?
Sports (soccer and volleyball are my two favorites), reading, learning phrases in other languages (random, I know, but really fun!)

What sort of campus organizations were you involved in?
I loved being in my society. We were a pretty close-knit group of girls, and a lot of my friends came from that group. I loved playing pretty much every intramural sport that was offered—from water polo to soccer!

Any advice for incoming students?
Be willing to try new things. It is easy to get stuck in the familiar, but there are endless possibilities out there. God can do so much in your life as you allow Him to work. Be willing.
